It's here! The day you've been planning for all this's easy to let the nerves get to you or get swept along with the business of the day without stopping to take a second for you.

Here's some of my tips for a little self care on your wedding day - so you can walk down that aisle composed and feeling calm about the day ahead.

A little essential oils dabbed on your wrist can evoke feelings of calm. If you struggle to sleep on the days running up to your wedding you can spray a little lavender or sandlewood to bring on feelings of sleepiness.

Give yourself plenty of time on the morning - plan in more time than you think you are going ot need. If you don't need it, then that's fine, more time to chill with your bridesmaids - but most brides underestimate how long they'll need, so make sure you've got a contingency built in.

Don't be scared of delegating those final tasks on the morning of the wedding to your bridesmaids to keep stress to a minimum.

Get excited for the day ahead and keep nerves at bay by playing some of your favourite music and have a giggle on the morning of the day. Keep those bubbles on ice!

Remember to eat something. Even if it's only a piece of toast. It can be quite a while before you'll eat again so take the opportunity to have a good breakfast before the day starts.

Pamper yourself, or even better, let someone else pamper you! Get glammed up and ready to step into your dress and down the aisle looking and feeling the most amazing you've ever felt.
